I trained in Paris and worked in France for 16 years before joining the Vale Medical Centre in 2004.

This relocation experience has deeply improved both my medical and linguistic skills, and I am glad to have been part of this friendly team and to care for our local patients for so many years.  Coming from a multicultural background, I enjoy working with so different patients.

As a woman and as a mother, it is very important to me to promote child health, as well as women's sexual health by providing the best support and care to my patients.

I also have a special interest in elderly care, and I dedicate some time to the local nursing home.

Within the surgery, my particular interests include health promotion, disease prevention, early diagnosis and management and supporting self-management in chronic conditions.

Outside of the surgery I am a Clinical Director at Lewisham Clinical Commissioning Group http://www.lewishamccg.nhs.uk/.
My work there focuses on assuring quality of care for patients in Lewisham and developing primary care services across the Borough.

I am also a GP Appraiser supporting colleagues in demonstrating good medical practice and achieving the General Medical Council’s revalidation requirements.

Special Interests:

I am a salaried GP and have been working at the Vale Medical Centre since 2011.  I have stayed at this practise as I enjoy working in this team and have come to know
and care for the patients at the Vale.  I enjoy all aspects of General Practice especially the variety that it provides; seeing all ages of patients from the newborns to the
frail, elderly housebound patients.

I have a diploma in family planning and sexual health and enjoy giving advice on contraception, and also seeing couples preparing to start a family. I have a two year old
daughter and this has given me a fresh insight as to what it is like to be a parent and I feel that has increased my capacity to understand and advise parents of small children.
